The number one problem we see in most group training gyms is the programming. It also happens to be some of the inspiration behind creating Battlesquad.
Getting fit and healthy isn't just about throwing a bunch of random exercises together without any thought of application or exercise selection and turning it into a "huffy puffy" workout. High intensity training definitely provides a lot of benefits and has it's place in our programming, but without the correct phasing, over time the body learns how to be efficient and will soon adapt. That's when things start to become stagnant or your progress may even start to diminish.
Our answer? In conjunction with experienced PT's and some of the best group training coaches in the business, we have created an appropriate program to cater for everyday people, that can be personalised to match most types of fitness levels, ranging from beginner to semi advanced. What we have created is the closest thing to having one on one personal training, without the hefty price tag and with the added benefit of a community filled with like minded individuals, helping one another along their fitness journey.
The methodology used simply works and has proven to do so on all of our clients time and time again. Incorporating mobility, stability, strength training, HIIT and more, in a range of functional movements to help individuals perform better in everyday tasks, hence the name "functional performance". These workouts change from day to day, phasing through different rep ranges and exercise selection to avoid any plateaus. All sessions are carried out around the 50 minute mark, so you don't have to dedicate too much time out of your day towards becoming the best version of yourself!
